Hawaii Floriculture Wedding Celebration

Poppy Parsons AIFD EMC was once again invited to be a part of the reverse trader program with the Hawaii Floriculture and Nursery Association Wedding Celebrations virtual event. Wedding Celebrations 2022 was a 2 day webinar series featuring a full list of Hawaii florists and Canadian florists showcasing techniques skills ad gorgeous Hawaii grown flowers! Poppy travelled to Vancouver in October 2022 to shoot a 2 part production with Videographer Colin Gilliam.  Utilizing some new techniques, Tropical Nouveau styling using Hawaiian grown tropical flowers & foliage and temperature blooms with a European influence. Poppy showcased Hawaii grown tropical flowers with the addition prairie look temperate blooms to create archway design with a tomato cage base, oak leaves and flowered with large tropical blooms, grasses, roses and more. The second part the feature design was a modern bespoke bridal bouquet- a floral muff with colored yarn,  keepsake shell leis, beaded wire and an assortment of blooms including Anthurium, Mokara orchids, button Chrysanthemums, and spray roses wired, glued and strung like floral leis in a soft “citrus” color pallete.  Pictured is Poppy holding her Bespoke Bridal Bouquet
